Beardstown Police:
Jeannie Cowans, 24, of Beardstown, was ticketed for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and disobeying traffic a control device on July 13.
Derick Morales, 35, of Beardstown, was ticketed for failure to yield or stop at an intersection. Morales’ vehicle struck a vehicle driven by Marjorie Bierhaus at 12th and State Street on July 13.
Silvestre Aceves-Moreno, 37 of Beardstown, was ticketed for failure to yield at an intersection. Aceves-Moreno’s vehicle struck a vehicle driven by Brian Humphrey, 38, of Beardstown at the intersection of Route 125 and Wall Street on July 14.
On July 15, Nestor Kakpo, 50, of Beardstown, was ticketed for use of cell phone while driving.
Sergio J. Hidalgo, 22, of Beardstown, was picked up on a Cass County Warrant for failure to appear on operating an uninsured motor vehicle on July 15. Hidalgo was lodged in Schuyler County Jail.
On July 18, Roger Edwards, 47 of Jacksonville was ticketed for no valid registration.

Cass County CrimeStoppers is currently seeking information on a criminal damage to property that occurred within the last week. A small vehicle drove through a cornfield in the area of Boulevard Road and Stock Lane near Beardstown. The suspect vehicle should have front end damage and may still contain corn stalks, grass and dirt.
